  • Submitting Offline Attendance

Students have three options for submitting offline attendance data:

Extended Offline Learning Opportunities: Please complete this form if you worked on school work and were not logged into the QDA LMS or your courses. Offline work can be reading a book/lesson, completing a workbook, conducting research, typing a research paper, using computer software (Photoshop, Video Editing, PowerPoint) etc. (Please contact your Instructional Supervisor if you are unsure if the activity qualifies).

Daily Paper Calendar: Students may keep a log showing the time they spent working in various subject areas. This log must be submitted once the month ends. Please contact your Instructional Supervisor to request a paper calendar and a pre-stamped return label.

Paper Calendars can be dropped off to any of the QDA offices.

  • Attendance Update - Offline Learning Form and Other Information

The Ohio Department of Education is now requiring QDA (and all eSchools) to calculate attendance based on hours instead of days. QDA has created the following extended offline learning opportunities form that students can complete if they are working offline for an extended period of time.

  • Attendance

Students are expected to log into the Learning Management System at least five days per week (excluding holidays and designated breaks). Students may log in any time throughout the day. As a general rule of thumb, students should work at least one hour a day in each course. This will ensure that you complete your courses in a timely manner.

    Hourly Attendance Requirements

The Ohio Department of Education now requires QDA (and all blended learning and eSchools) to document student attendance in an hourly format. Students should work 5.5 hours per day for five days a week. Students are expected to have 920 hours by the last day of school.

QDA Learning Management System

The QDA Learning Management System was developed to provide students with a centralized location to access their coursework, information, and support. If you have a question or issue, simply click the SUPPORT link on the top menu to access all the available resources on this site.

While QDA provides resources and tutorials so students can access information 24/7, we never want students to become frustrated so feel free to give us a call at 1-866-968-7032 from 9AM-5PM, Monday - Friday.
